The Third Week of Spring Season 2025
Superfood Blend
This blend combines pea shoots, red and green bok choy, kale, and Swiss chard.
Flavor: Earthy and crunchy.
Health Benefit: This blend has fiber to support digestion, aw well as high water content to support hydration.
Tip: Eat it raw with a simple vinaigrette to enjoy the textures and flavors of this colorful blend.
Sunflower Shoots
These sunflower shoots are easy to incorporate into any snack or meal for added nutrients.
Flavor: Crunchy, nutty, and delicate.
Health Benefit: Low in calories, high in nutrients means they are great for healthy weight management.
Tip: These shoots are so tasty, they are perfect to eat raw.
Basil
We deliver a living basil plant so you can have the freshest basil possible this week.
Flavor: Both sweet and savory with hints of mint and pepper.
Health Benefit: The aroma of basil has calming properties so you can destress.
Tip: Harvest fresh basil leaves and use them fresh in a salad, or fold them into a hot pasta dish.
Turnips
These bright white turnips are fresh, mild and crisp.
Flavor: We harvest them young, keeping them crisp with a slight bite and without the bitterness of other varieties.
Health Benefit: Their high water content not only keeps you hydrated, but also helps your kidneys flush out waste.
Tip: You can store these with the tops on; just keep them in the crisper drawer, wrapped in a damp paper towel.
Roasted Sunflower Seeds
These roasted sunflower seeds are rich, nutty, and satisfying.
