FAQs
What do I get with an Area 2 Farms’ farm share?
Each week, Area 2 Farms harvests and delivers greens, microgreens, herbs, and root vegetables. When you purchase a farm share, you’ll receive a rotation of organically-grown, seasonal produce (and specialty items) delivered to your doorstep. Your weekly basket will include:
Greens like lettuces, kale, beet greens, and bok choy.
Microgreens and shoots like cabbage microgreens, pea shoots, radish microgreens, and sunflower shoots.
Herbs like rosemary, mint, thyme, oregano, parsley, and basil.
Root vegetables like turnips, potatoes, carrots, and radishes.
Specialty items like herb oils, herb salts, tea blends, and edible flowers.
The types of crops grown and harvested at our organic farm in Arlington, VA will vary each week, as well as what is grown, harvested, and delivered each season. Our farmers are able to grow unique varieties of crops, in nutrient-rich soil, that are not readily found in grocery stores.
