Fall Colors
(Lettuce Blend & Rainbow Swiss Chard)
This mix tastes great when sauteed with garlic and salt. It pairs well with onions, proteins, and eggs. It is filled with antioxidants and is high in vitamin K, which helps with digestion and protects you from certain types of cancer.
Sunflower Shoots
Sunnies pack in essential nutrients like vitamins A, C, E, K, B6 as well as folate, iron, protein, omega-3s and omega-6s. They are super versatile, and can be added into almost anything. Try them with strawberries, potatoes, and avocado. These micros are nothing short of awesome in sandwiches, soups, salads, scrambled eggs, and wraps.
Kohl-A-Cab
Mix of Kohlrabi, Arugula, and Cabbage Microgreens
Great in egg dishes, topping off any protein, and adding into any dish to increase daily intake of nutrition. These microgreens are very nutritious and contain over 100% of the recommended daily value of Vitamin C.
Green and Purple Sage
Use it with butter, proteins, add onto your cheese boards, or freeze into your ice. Use in traditional recipes that call for sage - stews, sausages, soups. It contains large amounts of vitamins A and C.
Sweet Marjoram
Goes very well with cheese, egg or tomato dishes. Add into soups, stews and sauces or put into stuffing mixtures. Use fresh or dried marjoram to spice up marinades for meats and fish. It also livens up sautéed or roasted vegetables like eggplant and summer squash.
MirePoix
Mix of Pink Celery, Spring Onions, Baby Carrots
Mirepoix (pronunciation: meer-PWAH) is the aromatic flavor base of many french dishes and is made by lightly cooking onions, celery, and carrots. The vegetables are cooked slowly in butter or oil in order to coax out the flavors without browning or caramelizing them.
Radish
Peppery with a delicate texture. Delicious raw with a dab of butter and touch of salt, they add delicious flavor to creative dishes and menus and bright red pops of color to the plate. A great source of fiber, vitamin C, and potassium. Slice some up and add into any food to give it an extra crunch.
Baby Cauliflower
The sweet cauliflower is high in vitamins C and K which helps to boost the immune system and strengthen bones. Baby cauliflower is also known to help improve digestion and help detox the liver. It is great to eat with proteins, bok choy, and any type of citrus. Try sauteing, roasting, or steaming it with just salt and pepper.
