Set sail into summer fun with Area 2 Farms at The Village at Shirlington’s Yacht Party! We’re excited to bring a fresh twist to the festivities with our interactive “harvest your own” herbal tea experience—a refreshing way to connect with nature and cool down in style.

You'll find us right next to our friends at Copperwood Tavern, where they’ll be shaking up seasonal cocktails featuring Chef Molly’s house-made basil simple syrup—straight from our farm to your glass.

Put on your best linens, florals, and boat shoes, then join us for an evening of live music, exclusive specials from Shirlington’s favorite restaurants and shops, and of course, our signature farm-fresh flavors.

Join us at this year’s Columbia Pike Blues Festival. This festival is a “high-energy summer celebration that brings music, community, and culture to the heart of Arlington’s most vibrant corridor.”

We’ll be there with fresh samples of our organic produce and a raffle for a week of free veggies from the farm!

On Wednesday, June 11th, Area 2 Farms will join the Waverly Hills Civic Association’s monthly meeting to share our farm with the community. We’ll have fresh samples from the farm, some fun trivia about local food, and will answer any questions the community has about our CSA service.

Want to get more involved in your community? Join your local civic association! Most of them meet regularly to talk about neighborhood goings-on and plan for events in the area. The Waverly Hills Civic Association meets bi-monthly – normally Wednesday nights at Glebe School.
