A Conversation with Chloe Sorvino: Unpacking Our Food System
Join us for a conversation with Chloe Sorvino, award-winning journalist and author of Raw Deal: Hidden Corruption, Corporate Greed, and the Fight for the Future of Meat. Drawing from years of investigative reporting, Chloe will share her unique insights into the world of food production, from the challenges of industrial agriculture to the innovations shaping what we eat.
While Chloe’s work has uncovered startling truths about the meat industry, this conversation will take a broader look at our entire food system. We’ll discuss the hidden forces driving food production, the environmental and social impacts of our current systems, and the pathways she sees for creating a more equitable and sustainable future.
Whether you’re a food enthusiast, farmer, policy advocate, or simply curious about the systems behind your meals, this discussion promises to inspire and inform.
Date: Thursday, January 30th
Time: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Location: National Press Club, Fourth Estate Room
Chloe Sorvino leads coverage of food, drink and agriculture at Forbes. Her debut book, Raw Deal: Hidden Corruption, Corporate Greed, and the Fight for the Future of Meat, is out now.
