An Herbal Experience with Area 2 Farms

At Area 2 Farms, we believe people should know their farmers. That’s why we get out into the community, hosting events throughout the DMV that bring our farm to you.

One of our favorite ways to connect is through the Herbal Experience, a hands-on, sensory introduction to the herbs we grow and how they can support your everyday life.

We’ve hosted these events in coworking spaces, cafes, markets, and studios, basically anywhere people are open to learning something new. Here’s how it works:

• We start with a quick intro to Area 2 Farms—what we grow, how we grow it, and why we’re working to make food more local.

• Then we dive into the herbs. You’ll smell, touch, and taste what’s in season.

• You’ll harvest your own herbs and mix a custom tea blend to take home.

• Along the way, we talk. You can ask us anything about farming, herbs, or how to use them at home.

You’ll leave with a deeper connection to local plants and the people who grow them.
