Mint Smoothie
This creamy, minty smoothie is made with fruit and greens to give you lots of nutrients. The sunflower seeds add fiber and a bit of protein to keep you full longer. And donβt forget a pinch of salt; it enhances flavor and gives an electrolyte boost without making it taste salty.
Ingredients
1 cup frozen pineapple
1 cup Greek yogurt or kefir
1 handful of superfood greens
10 mint leaves
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1 Tbsp honey, agave, or maple syrup
A pinch of salt
Instructions
Add yogurt or kefir to the blender first to help it get going.
Add frozen pineapple.
Add superfood greens.
Add mint leaves.
Add sunflower seeds.
Add honey, agave, or maple syrup.
Add a pinch of salt.
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Taste and adjust sweetness or salt as desired.
Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
