Roasted Sweet Potatoes
These roasted sweet potatoes are smoky, slightly sweet, and perfectly caramelized. They make a versatile side dish that pairs well with just about any meal.
Ingredients:
3 medium–large sweet potatoes
1 Tbsp garlic powder
1/2 Tbsp onion powder
1 Tbsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp chili powder
2 Tbsp honey or maple syrup
3 Tbsp olive oil
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Cut sweet potatoes into 1/2–1 inch cubes.
Toss the sweet potatoes with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, honey or maple syrup, and olive oil until evenly coated.
Spread the potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Bake for about 25 minutes, stirring 2–3 times during cooking, until tender and easily pierced with a fork.
