You and your family will receive a variety of nutrition, flavors, and experiences through a whole season’s worth of fresh, local, and organic vegetables.
Each box is filled with produce grown with loving care in the best environment while keeping the earth happy, too.
We care about our planet and its future. That’s why we have created a Zero-Waste Nutrient Cycling compost system that allows us to recycle our precious nutrients into our new soil. Our food waste is food for the next generation of plants.

A benefit of being a local farm is that we don’t have to limit the crops we grow, and we love introducing our neighbors to new crops or specialty harvests from all over the world. In each box, we add something that will catch the attention of you, your family, and your taste buds!
You won’t be able to find these specialty crop surprises in any grocery store around here, and we want to help you use these new crops in your trusted recipes and to help you make new ones!

HOW DOES THE SUMMER SEASON WORK?
When you subscribe to the Summer Season, we’ll bring fresh, local, and organic produce to your front door. Our farmers deliver on Wednesdays and Thursdays each week, and you can choose which day works best for you.
Why only Wednesdays and Thursdays?
We deliver our products within 24 hours of harvest time, which is why we’re proud to say that we provide the freshest farm-to-table food.
On your delivery day, you can use our delivery time coordination feature to guarantee the shortest drop-off window from our farm to your home’s refrigerator. That way, your fresh produce is just as delicious and nutritious as when it was picked.

What if I need to skip a week?
No problem! You’re busy, and plans change. We get that. When you subscribe to the Summer Season, you can skip weeks. We also offer the option of donating an entire week’s produce bundle to friends and family, or anyone you think should try it.
Area 2 Farms believes in loving thy neighbor, and the food we share is our way of showing that.
