As the winter season approaches, Area 2 Farms is excited to share the details of our upcoming CSA Winter Season. Although the outdoors may be frosty, our indoor farm is bustling with life, and we're ready to bring you the finest seasonal produce from 12/18/2023 to 3/18/2024.

What to Anticipate

Weekly harvest that includes organic: greens, herbs, rooting and fruiting crops, microgreens, and speciality items.  

During the CSA Winter Season, you can look forward to delightful cold-weather offerings that will add warmth and nutrition to your dishes. Here's a glimpse of what's in store:

Root Vegetables: Embrace the earthy flavors of red and white turnips, perfect for roasting or adding a unique twist to your winter meals. Turnips, Radishes, Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes…

New Growth: Witness the continuous growth on our farm, where we nurture our produce year-round to ensure freshness and flavor.

Winter Staples: Welcome the winter season with open arms and a warm kitchen. We're introducing sweet potatoes, roasting potatoes, and arugula to our offerings. These additions are versatile and will enhance the flavor and nutrition of your winter dishes.

Convenient Delivery and Customized Scheduling

To make your experience as convenient as possible, we've maintained our schedule with harvests on Tuesdays and deliveries on Wednesday or Thursday. We're flexible, allowing you to choose your delivery days with a simple email to hello@area2farms.com. We understand that your schedule may vary during the winter months, and we're here to accommodate your needs.

Join Our Tours

We invite you to immerse yourself in the wonder of our indoor farm by joining our farm tours. These tours are scheduled on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month. You'll have the chance to explore our sustainable practices, witness the magic of winter cultivation, and gain a deeper connection to the source of your nourishment.
