Buzz Button Cocktail

What You’ll Need (for 1 cocktail):

• 1 shot of tequila or vodka

• Club soda or ginger beer

• 1 tablespoon lemon juice

• 1 tablespoon simple syrup

• 1 buzz button flower

• A pinch of minced lemon verbena or lemon balm (included in Area 2 Farms’ Buzz Button Cocktail/Mocktail Kit)

How to Make It:

1. In a cocktail shaker or jar, mix your liquor, club soda/ginger beer, lemon juice, and simple syrup.

2. Add a handful of ice and shake it up.

3. Pour into a glass and top with a splash of club soda or more ginger beer to taste.

4. Choose your buzz:

   • Chew a piece of the flower before sipping,

   • Drop one buzz button into the drink, or

   • Crush a bit and rub it around the rim of the glass.

5. Garnish with lemon balm or verbena. Sip and enjoy the electric zing.
