Peas Please Mix
Pea shoots and mixed greens blend perfectly in this sweet, hydrating specialty mix. Bright, layered flavors make for a refreshing summer salad, especially when paired with fresh berries or citrus, goat cheese, and tree nuts. Visualize whirled peas and blend these greens in a smoothie or pesto.
Kohlrabi Microgreens
Kohlrabi microgreens have an earthy, warm taste. Similar to a mix of broccoli micros and radish micros, these super nutritious greens are a perfect reason to eat local! Kohlrabi microgreens help to fortify your immune system, and are a great addition to any family meal. Mix them into taco filling, add to hearty sandwiches, or top a salad with these unique micros.
Italian Herb Blend
Take an aromatic trip to Italy this week! Transform your table into a Tuscan trattoria with an Italian herb blend featuring oregano, rosemary, and thyme. These delicious flavors combine to create an elevated and comforting taste profile for meat dishes, lasagnas, pasta sauces, and tomato-based dips. Plus, this blend of powerful herbal medicines contain anti-inflammatory properties. Que bella!
Corn Shoots
Corn shoots are smooth and sweet, and have a similar flavor to corn on the cob. We moved the farm indoors to grow this popular produce in our silos. Add to mixed greens or butter lettuce with an oil-based dressing for a salad. Add corn shoots to light lunch sandwiches, breakfast egg dishes, or to dinner specialties like bruschetta or avocado toast. These also blend well into classic dips such as salsa or cucumber dip.
Oyster Mushrooms
These delicate oyster mushrooms are a lot of fun(gi)! Mild flavor and tender texture make these perfect to sautée with olive oil. Pair with savory herbs and a marinade to roast or put on the grill. Used medicinally, oyster mushrooms fortify the immune system and add fiber. Perfect for pasta sauces and as a topper for meats.
