Grilling Greens

These hearty grilling greens are perfect for summertime grilling.

Flavor: Earthy, slightly sweet with a great crunch.

Health benefit: With high water content, these greens will help you stay hydrated.

Tip: Grill these greens to make, or use as a bed under meats or veggies.

Pea Shoots

These baby pea plants, like other shoots and microgreens, are a mighty source of micronutrients.

Flavor: Sweet, a little grassy, and super crunchy.

Health benefit: High amount of vitamin C.

Tip: You can cook these hearty shoots, just use them as you would spinach.

Chives

Chives are one of the smallest members of the onion family, but they pack a lot of flavor in their slender leaves.

Flavor: Mild onion flavor.

Health benefit: The choline in chives promotes sound sleep.

Tip: Perfect when finely chopped and used to sprinkled on potatoes.

Turnips

These bright white turnips are fresh, mild and crisp.

Flavor: As we harvest them when they are small, the flavor it not bitter like other varieties.

Health benefit: High water content not only keeps you hydrated, but also helps your kidneys flush out waste.

Tip: You can store these with the tops on; just keep them in the crisper drawer, wrapped in a damp paper towel.

Arugula

This fresh arugula is crunchy and flavorful.

Flavor: Perfectly peppery.

Health benefit: Includes calcium and vitamin K to keep bones healthy.

Tip: Eat it raw in a salad with some of this week’s pea shoots.
