AirFry Oyster Mushrooms

Forget takeout tonight and enjoy oyster mushrooms. They take 5 minutes to prep and 15 minutes in the air fryer.

Ingredients:

  1. Oyster Mushrooms

  2. Parsley (any herb you want really) or chives from this week’s harvest.

  3. Salt

  4. Olive oil

Directions:

  1. Prepare the Oyster Mushrooms: Using your fingers, gently pull apart the oyster mushrooms into bite-sized pieces. This step prepares the mushrooms to absorb flavor, ensuring each bite is tasty.

  2. Chop: Finely chop herbs or chives.

  3. Drizzle with Olive Oil and Sprinkle the Herbs: Lay out the oyster mushrooms and generously drizzle them with olive oil. Sprinkle the finely chopped herbs or chives evenly over the mushrooms, and add a pinch of salt.

  4. Gently Massage: To ensure that every mushroom is infused with the herbs and olive oil, lightly massage the ingredients with your fingers. This step imparts flavor and tenderizes the mushrooms for a satisfying texture.

  5. Air Fry: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F. Place the seasoned mushrooms in the basket and air fry for 8 minutes. After this time, check for crispness. Add 3-4 minutes to achieve the perfect golden crunch if desired.

  6. Serve and Enjoy: This recipe is simple whether you're a seasoned chef or a kitchen novice.
