Thirteenth Week of Spring Season 2024
Spring Mix
This colorful and crunchy blend includes crystal, oak leaf, butter head, and romaine lettuces.
Flavor: Sweet, mild, crispy, and buttery.
Health benefit: High water content means mineral- and vitamin-rich hydration.
Tip: This mix is perfect for chopped salads. Try kitchen scissor as an easy chopping method.
Microgreen Medley
This mix combines easy-to-use and highly nutritious kale, tatsoi, and mizuna microgreens.
Flavor: Earthy, peppery, and tender.
Health benefit: Prebiotic fiber to support the growth of healthy gut bacteria.
Tip: Since the mizuna microgreens have a little spice, this medley is great to use as a topper. Throw a palm-full on any dish. A little goes a long way!
Bok Choy
Our newest crop, these bok choy heads have been growing for over a month; we harvested them just just in time for our last Spring delivery.
Flavor: Fresh and grassy with a satisfying crunch.
Health benefit: A leafy green with vitamin K to keep your bones and blood healthy.
Tip: Chop at the base and use all the greens. A light sauté will keep the crunchiness of the bok choy.
Herb Blend
An aromatic mix of thyme, marjoram, and oregano.
Flavor: Earthy and slightly spicy with citrus, pine, and even some mint flavors.
Health benefit: Supports healthy digestion.
Tip: Chop finely and add olive oil to make a marinade to season vegetables, meats, and more.
Edible Flowers
Our last Spring-time edible flower blend includes celosia, marigold, viola, and purple shamrock.
Flavor: Slightly sweet, grassy, and citrusy.
Health benefit: Adds beauty to your culinary creations.
Tip: Use to garnish salads and desserts, or make ice cubes to add flair and flavor to water, mocktails, and cocktails.
