Fall Farm Shares 2024

It’s time for our 2024 fall harvest season! You can purchase your fall season delivery now to receive locally-grown, organic produce weekly - delivered right to your doorstep.

What is a fall farm share?

A farm share, also referred to as a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), is an opportunity to purchase a share of a farm’s produce for a full season - in this case - fall - September 16th through December 9th.

Unlike traditional CSA models, Area 2 Farms offers flexibility. So while it’s fantastic to purchase your vegetable delivery for a full 10-week season, our delivery options allow you to start, stop, or reschedule whenever you want, so you’re never really locked into a specific season. And since we grow, harvest, and deliver USDA certified organic vegetables all year round, you can purchase your vegetable box anytime.

Our farmers will harvest and deliver your vegetable subscription box to all members within a 10-mile radius—every week.

What’s included your fall farm share delivery?

We are excited to introduce some new crops for our 2024 fall season.

Each delivery is enough to last the week and will include: 

• Greens like lettuce blends, arugula, and kale. We are always adding new lettuce blends into the mix, and our 2024 fall season is no different.

• Microgreens and shoots like broccoli microgreens and pea shoots. We mix microgreens and shoots to attain a balance of flavors and textures. This fall, you’ll see a new “Petite Mizuna Medley” which includes green mizuna and ruby frill.

• Herbs like parsley and dill. We grow different varieties of herbs, some that you would never find at your local grocery store. For fall, we’ll be harvesting a blend of different basil varieties like lemon basil, c.

• Root vegetables like carrots and radishes. This fall, you’ll get to enjoy a new white icicle radish variety that we’re harvesting for the first time.

• Specialty items like herb oils, herb and chili salts. For our 2024 fall season, we’ll be introducing a new herbal tea blends that includes mint, anise hyssop, and tulsi basil.

The types of crops grown and harvested at our organic farm in Arlington, VA will vary each week, as well as what is grown, harvested, and delivered each season. Our farmers are able to grow unique varieties of crops, in nutrient-rich soil, that are not readily found in grocery stores.

Convenient and flexible delivery

Each week, we harvest produce on Tuesdays, and deliver to you on Wednesdays or Thursdays, based on your location. What you receive is hyper-local, organic, and absolutely fresh.
